Campaign Receives Endorsement from Law Enforcement

HOUSTON, TX - In a major boost to his congressional campaign, Nick Tran has received the official endorsement of the Association of Texas Law Enforcement Officers (ATLEO), one of the largest police organizations in the state.

The endorsement was announced at a press conference where ATLEO President Michael Johnson praised Tran's strong stance on law and order and his commitment to supporting the men and women who protect Texas communities.

"Nick Tran understands the challenges facing law enforcement today and has demonstrated unwavering support for the difficult job our officers do every day," said Johnson. In accepting the endorsement, Tran outlined his law enforcement platform:

• Opposing any efforts to defund or diminish police departments
• Supporting increased funding for officer training and equipment
• Backing qualified immunity protections for officers
• Advocating for stronger penalties for those who assault law enforcement
• Enhancing community policing initiatives and officer wellness programs

"The men and women in blue risk their lives every day to keep our communities safe," Tran said. "As a combat veteran, I understand what it means to put your life on the line for others. In Congress, I will always have the backs of our law enforcement officers."

Several local police officers attended the event, including Sergeant Sarah Martinez, who expressed her support: "We need representatives in Washington who understand the realities of our job and will advocate for the resources we need to protect our communities. Nick Tran is that candidate."

The endorsement comes as public safety continues to be a top concern for voters in the district. Tran has made crime reduction and support for law enforcement central themes of his campaign, contrasting his approach with what he describes as "soft-on-crime policies that have endangered Texas families."
