Nick Tran Announces Congressional Campaign

HOUSTON, TX - Today, combat veteran and small business owner Nick Tran officially announced his candidacy for the United States Congress, running on a platform that puts America First.

"I'm running for Congress because our country is at a crossroads," said Tran at his campaign launch event. "I've fought for America abroad in three separate wars, and now I'm ready to fight for her at home in the halls of Congress."

Tran, who came to the United States as a Vietnam War refugee, emphasized his unique perspective on American greatness. "As someone who has seen firsthand the horrors of socialism and communism, I understand what makes America exceptional. Our freedoms, our values, and our Constitution are worth defending with every fiber of our being."

The announcement drew hundreds of supporters, including fellow veterans, small business owners, and community leaders. Tran outlined his key priorities for his campaign:

• Securing the border and enforcing immigration laws
• Building a stronger economy through lower taxes and reduced regulations
• Achieving American energy independence
• Protecting Second Amendment rights
• Reforming the VA to better serve veterans
